How It Works

1. Bring the old hose. We measure it and gauge the threads on each end. Many hydraulic fittings look alike and can only be told apart with thread gauges and calipers, so we cannot build a hose from a photo.
2. We cut and crimp it while you wait. Most assemblies are done in minutes. No minimum order, one hose or a dozen.
3. Back to work the same day. Tractors, forklifts, log trucks, dump trucks, skid steers, presses, balers and plant equipment all come through our door.

Hydraulic Hose We Stock

• 2-wire braid (SAE 100R2 / 2SN) – 1/4″ through 1-1/4″, up to 5,800 PSI. Our everyday hose for farm, truck and shop equipment.
• 4- and 6-spiral (R12 / R13 / 4SH / 6SH class) – 3/4″ through 2″, 3,000 to 6,000 PSI, for high-pressure and high-impulse systems.
• Return and suction hose (R4) – 3/4″ through 2″, extra-flexible.
• Thermoplastic hose (R7 / R8, PiranhaFlex) – 1/4″ to 1/2″, non-conductive and twin-line styles up to 5,000 PSI.
• Ultra-high pressure (R17, 13,000 PSI) and stainless-braid PTFE hose 1/4″ to 1″ for hot, chemical or high-temp lines.
• Pressure-washer hose 1/4″ to 1/2″, 3,000 to 5,800 PSI, hot- and cold-water rated.
• Hose protection – nylon sleeves, spring guards and flat coil wrap in every size we stock.

More than 1,300 hydraulic fittings and adapters in stock, so the hose leaves with the right ends the first time:

• JIC 37° flare – male, female swivel, 45° and 90° elbows, bulkheads
• ORFS (O-ring face seal) straight, 45° and 90°

Bring the Old Hose

• Bring the old hose, even if it is blown. It tells us the size, the length and the exact fitting on each end, and we gauge the threads to be sure.
• No old hose? Bring the fittings, or the mating fitting off the machine, so we can match the thread on the bench.
• Ordering by phone: we can quote and build from your description of the size, length and ends, but if the thread or fitting type you give us is wrong, the hose will be wrong. Whenever you can, bring the old one in.
• Tell us the working pressure of the system, or the machine make and model, and we will pick the right hose class.

Do you make hydraulic hoses while I wait?
Yes. Walk in with the old hose during store hours and we crimp the replacement while you are here.

Can you make a hose from a photo or over the phone?
Not from a photo. Thread types such as JIC, ORFS, BSP and metric can look identical in a picture and have to be gauged. We can build from a phone description, but the hose is only as right as the description, so bring the old hose whenever possible.

What sizes can you build?
1/4″ through 2″ inside diameter, in 1-wire, 2-wire, 4-spiral and 6-spiral hose, plus thermoplastic, PTFE and pressure-washer hose.

Can you match odd or foreign fittings?
Usually. We stock JIC, ORFS, ORB, NPT, Code 61/62 flange, BSP and metric ends, and we can adapt between them.

Do you sell hydraulic fittings and adapters by themselves?
Yes, over the counter, along with hydraulic oil, hose sleeves and spring guards.
